An unexpected event has disrupted normal life in 2020. It has also changed our well-planned exhibition agenda. However, it provides us a good opportunity to slow down and inspect our inner selves, as well as venture into something new.
We realized that we have been treating each piece of art we sold or collected with most true feelings. And for the first time, we will display our own collection in our gallery space. Looking around, we felt that contemporary art is sometimes beyond the words of the most eloquent art critics, and it cannot be remembered by record-breaking prices only.
An Unlimited Checklistis more than just another exhibition held by AroundSpace. It is a retrospective of our own art experience, an examination of our own collection, and a dialogue with our artists and audience.
Life is short and limited, but art is indefinite and unlimited. So should be our experience with art.
